Carrot, Pineapple & Coconut Smoothie

Why not kickstart your day with this tasty, immune-boosting smoothie? It’s an unusual but delicious combination of fruits, a tropical twist on the classic orange, carrot and ginger combo.

  • 150 g carrot (approx. 1 medium carrot), peeled and cut into small chunks
  • 150 g pineapple, cut into medium-sized chunks
  • 5 g (approx. ¼ inch) fresh ginger root, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsps coconut cream
  • 200 ml orange juice
  • ice cubes, to serve


  1. Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth. If it’s too thick for your liking, add some more water and blend until smooth. Serve with ice.

Substitutions and Alterations

  1. To make the smoothie sweeter: add honey, agave nectar or sweetener of choice.
  2. To make it less sweet: add a little water or a squeeze of lime/lemon juice.
