Mango & Avocado Salsa

A zingy mango and avocado salsa, packed with fresh, vibrant flavours that will keep you coming back for more. It strikes the perfect balance between savoury, sweet, sour and spicy. Use it as a dip for corn tortilla chips or pair it with grilled salmon or chicken for a light, tasty meal.

Like your salsa extra spicy? Add an extra chilli or opt for a hotter chilli, like a finger chilli or scotch bonnet pepper (if you dare!).

  • ¼ red onion, minced
  • 1 red chilli, minced
  • 100 g fresh mango, cut into small cubes
  • 5 g fresh coriander, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp freshly-squeezed lime juice (less than 1 lime)
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • a good pinch of freshly-ground black pepper
  • 1 avocado, cut into small cubes


  1. Combine the red onion, chilli, mango and fresh coriander in a small mixing bowl. Add the lime juice, salt and a good pinch of freshly-ground black pepper and toss to combine. Add the avocado and toss gently to combine. Taste and season with extra sea salt and freshly-ground black pepper, if necessary, then serve.

STORAGE: This salsa is best served fresh but will keep in the fridge for up to 2 days.
