These 5-ingredient Maple Cinnamon Baked Peaches are an absolute treat. Sweet, juicy peaches are halved and drizzled with a maple-cinnamon glaze, before being baked to golden perfection. As they bake, the peaches soften, their natural sugars intensify, and the syrupy glaze caramelises, creating a warm, comforting dessert that’s hard to resist. Served with vanilla ice cream or Greek yoghurt, they make the perfect summer dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe peaches
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp light or dark brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil or melted butter
  • ¼ – ½ tsp ground cinnamon, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 180℃ / fan 160℃. Halve and stone your peaches.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the maple syrup, sugar, extra-virgin olive oil and ground cinnamon with a small pinch of salt.
  3. Arrange the peaches in a single layer flesh-side-up in a small skillet or roasting tin. Make sure they’re nice and snug without too much space around them, so that the juices don’t end up over-reducing or possibly even burning.
  4. Pour the maple cinnamon mix over the peaches, ensuring they’re fully coated. Bake, flipping once halfway through, for 35 to 40 minutes, or until tender in the middle.
  5. Let the peaches cool to room temperature in the roasting juices, then serve with vanilla ice cream, drizzled with the roasting juices.
